    I resided at Camelot for three years. Initially, I was pleased, but in the last year, I noticed a downward shift. Like previous residents, I had to deal with the water being shut off without notice (several times) , maintenance coming in without notice, poor parking availability, hearing loud neighbors in the hallways and upstairs, the smell of marijuana in the hallways and pet owners not cleaning up after their dogs. Thankfully, I never had to deal with roaches or any other pest problems that other residents have had to deal with. I became fed up with this complex when I received my renewal for my lease. My monthly rent was going to increase by $163.00 extra a month. After inquiring why the rent was increasing so much, I was told by the office that kitchen renovations were happening and that was some of the reason for the increase. I was not made aware that these renovations were even going to be occurring until I saw that huge rent increase and went to the office. The renovation process was a hassle ( there is still areas of the parking lot restricted further complicating the parking lot area), and the contractors did a half job in my opinion. I decided I could get a whole lot more space and amenities for the $900 plus I was going to have to pay here. Raising the rent and the lack of regard in maintenance will be a reason many residents will decide to move elsewhere. I moved out in May 2017, a couple of weeks before I moved out the air conditioning went out. I called the office and spoke to Frankie and told her. At that time I was told that someone would come out to fix it. During May the weather was hot! I have a dog and not to have air is unacceptable. By the time I moved out the air conditioning still had not been fixed. The three years I lived here I had never been late on rent. I would have liked for my request to be met within a reasonable time. I can only speak for myself, but I was very disappointed in this complex. As I have noticed in previous reviews, there are a lot of recurring complaints and issues that need to be addressed. I am happy I no longer live here because it was getting ridiculous and I sure was not going to give them over $900 to be unhappy. Camelot, If you do not have enough staff to handle maintenance request hire more.

    Update: After writing the below mentioned review, owners were quick to respond HOWEVER... I now have been dealing with significant flooding due to faulty plumbing in the bathroom for 3 months. The first time I was told the soaked drywall in the bathroom ceiling would "dry out on its own" and the sagging ceiling and holes from the flood were never addressed. I called to get it looked at again with no response. The 2nd time it happened, maintenance cut a giant hole in our bathroom ceiling to remove aesthetic damage but the plumbing was never fixed. This time I contacted the main office AND the director with no response. I am currently waiting on maintenance a third time for the same issue. The mold in the ceiling and carpet has a noticeable smell and Camelot is not even a little concerned over the issue. I wish I could share with you all the photos and video I have! In addition, I have called several times about half the lights in my apartment not working with no response! The last year here has been a complete nightmare! Ceiling leaks, fridge broke down, a damaged stove, broken drawers, a flooded living room that took almost 3 months to repair (with no reimbursement for the extra expenses of running fans 24:7), a busted out window that NOBODY responds to. Office doesn't have voicemail, the line is always "busy" or "unavailable". It is obvious that my health and safety are not a priority to Camelot

    The apartments cost more then it is even worth !!! The office itches with a b are either stupid or liars they will say your check bounced when it never did !!! You can NEVER get ahold of the office unless you say your interested in renting lol of course they are money hungry liers. Ooo and the maintenance men around here like the rig stuff. this is the lasttttt place i would move.you would be better off moving to the ghetto thats a promise!!!!!!
